A useful letter names three things: the house, the hour on the glass you stood under, and the wording if it contradicts a paragraph here. Dates help. We will change HTML when we are wrong. Letters that ask us to keep a named hour, to speak to a guard, to bless screenshots from a reseller, or to vouch for a stranger at a coach stop do not get a line. A person who claims this masthead beside a coach is snapping chalk on the wrong wall.
This is an editorial room. Mail before you knock. The door on Qasr El Nil is not a museum, even though the old house on the square is a short walk. Mail is read Sunday through Thursday. Taxis, talkers, and tomorrow’s pound are not jobs we take. If your mailer will not open, type [email protected] by hand. That is the whole instrument.
