One pin in the browser
A mason does not leave a second mark on a wall he already snapped. This origin asks for one pin in the browser: ck_cookie, written when you dismiss the dashed strip — Keep the line, or Needed only. That pin is localStorage, not a server cookie, and it does not travel to other sites. Woff2 files live under /fonts/. The script stays first-party: no iframe, no call to another host. There is no stall of vendors, so there is no vendor list, no consent platform, no Facebook pixel, and no Google tag. Needed only is enough to read the articles.
How the pin behaves
The key does not expire on a calendar. It lives until you clear site data. We do not set a cookie from the server. localStorage does not ride out with HTTP cookies. We have no accounts. Block storage and the strip may return each visit — that is the browser. A bar that appears from nowhere and never names a key is not ours. Ours names ck_cookie and stays down once the key is present. No script, no strip, articles still readable. Mail [email protected] if a copy loads a stranger’s script.
